Trails
Abandoned railways have been repurposed throughout the Municipality of Leamington into trails for the enjoyment of walkers, joggers and cyclists. This is a great way to get out and enjoy the outdoors while getting exercise.
The following are locations of the trails in Leamington:
- Talbot Street West to Oak Street West to Ellison (trail runs north/south)
- Sherk Street to Erie Street South (trail runs west/east) - this trail also has numerous pieces of outdoor fitness equipment!
- Oak Street East to Pulford Avenue to Seacliff Drive East to Robson Road (trail runs north/south)
The Waterfront Trail passes through Leamington.
The Waterfront Trail is a cycling route that runs near the shorelines of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie from Cornwall (Quebec border) at the east end to Lighthouse Cove at the west end. The cycle route consists of signed on road segments as well as off road trails. For more information, please visit http://www.waterfronttrail.org/
